    So next week is our Coron Trip and i wanna make a beanie i can use for that trip.. It's a good a thing i got a huge stack of yarns lying around.. lol.. I called this my choco mint beanie  because the main body  is brown and the thin strip is a combination of white, light brown and green yarn.. I just love this!   i used the same pattern with my red and purple beanies for this one.. cute! feeling it.. loving it.. lol This beanie can't wait to go to Coron, Palawan!!

So here we go again with a new project.. I only made a couple of scarves so far.. It's January people..it's a few more months before summer hits.. and in a tropical country like ours.. hot means HOT! so i got these patterns from the net of course (ha ha).. Im so sorry for not posting where i got it from..that won't be happening in the future again.. i swear!  this one's made out of red acrylic yarn.. the width is short as you can see..  It's not really cold in here so i had  to make one so my  neck can still breathe.. lol i love this pattern.. i learned how to do the picot when making this baby.. the width is short as well. . and it's my Profile pic!! lol

Ever since I started my passion for crocheting.. I have always wanted to make some cool beanies/hats because when i go to hat shops, i can't seem to find the perfect fit for me.. But since I'm a beginner.. I couldn't understand the patterns and crochet terms.. lol.. but after tons of practicing in short projects, i have created my very own dream beanie!!!! and I'm so excited to use it!!  lol This is a combination of patterns i got from the net.. I had to tweak the patterns a bit so the beanie can fit my big head.. i just finished this.. It's actually a smaller version of the red one i made.. luv it! I added two dark brown buttons to make my beanie more interesting.. cool huh.. lol

I was so psyched when i saw Mandy Power's page online.. She made these really cute pot holders and hot pads.. I shopped for colorful yarns so i can make a version of my own.. and my finished products are truly satisfying!! lol.. Thanks Mandy for the idea.. I now have four of my own and im planning to make more.. mixing and matching different colors!  this pattern was from a different web site.. i forgot where i got it from.. but thanks to whoever owns the site.. i learned a new pattern for edging.. so proud!! lol.. they're off to go to their new owners!! lol i learned another new edging.. thanks to Mandy's page!! i luv the colors!! and this is my fave edging! this one's a really girly version.. i used my fave edging for this one of course.. :)
