July 23, 2012 (Monday 12:00pm): It was an hour before my scheduled surgery.. I was a nervous wreck.. My anesthesiologist visited me to tell me the details.. How the anesthesia will be introduced to my body.. thru IV and thru the esophagus (ouch)... and then the time came.. i was wheeled down to the 3rd or 4th floor where the OR was.. I was only wearing a hospital gown.. nothing underneath so it was cold.. which added to my discomfort.. i was transferred to an opearting bed with big straps going across your body ( reminded me a lot of 50 Shades.. lol).. I was given my first dose of sleeping drug.. I got a bit chatty.. lol.. I was chatting with the circulating nurse until i can't remember anything anymore.. Then 4 hours and 30 mins later it was all done.. my mouth was sore.. i was so groggy... i was going in and out of sleep.. July 24 2012 (Tuesday): The pain wasn't half as bad as i thought (based on the comments from the forums I have read). Maybe because i had the best doc...
soimple crocheted flowers 3 cute gray buttons to match the golden yarn Sewed everything together.. :) Our fridge with its new accessory.. :) i was inspired by my sister's work on fridge door handles so i tried it myself.. lol.. it's not too professional looking though coz this was pattern free.. Ever since I started my passion for crocheting.. I have always wanted to make some cool beanies/hats because when i go to hat shops, i can't seem to find the perfect fit for me.. But since I'm a beginner.. I couldn't understand the patterns and crochet terms.. lol.. but after tons of practicing in short projects, i have created my very own dream beanie!!!! and I'm so excited to use it!! lol This is a combination of patterns i got from the net.. I had to tweak the patterns a bit so the beanie can fit my big head.. i just finished this.. It's actually a smaller version of the red one i made.. luv it! I added two dark brown buttons to make my beanie more interesting.. cool huh.. lol
