i luv pairing my lanyards with my work clothes so i gotta have em in different styles and colors.. :)

Tonsillectomy...

July 23, 2012 (Monday 12:00pm): It was an hour before my scheduled surgery.. I was a nervous wreck.. My anesthesiologist visited me to tell me the details.. How the anesthesia will be introduced to my body.. thru IV and thru the esophagus (ouch)... and then the time came.. i was wheeled down to the 3rd or 4th floor where the OR was.. I was only wearing a hospital gown.. nothing underneath so it was cold.. which added to my discomfort.. i was transferred to an opearting bed with big straps going across your body ( reminded me a lot of 50 Shades.. lol).. I was given my first dose of sleeping drug.. I got a bit chatty.. lol.. I was chatting with the circulating nurse until i can't remember anything anymore..  Then 4 hours and 30 mins later it was all done.. my mouth was sore.. i was so groggy...  i was going in and out of sleep.. July 24 2012 (Tuesday): The pain wasn't half as bad as i thought (based on the comments from the forums I have read). Maybe because i had the best doc...

Doctors Not in their Clinics

I just wanna share with you guys my experience with MOST doctors i have visited. It was my day off from work.. I was psyched to go to a dermatologist ( ACNE loves me so much.. for the past 30 years it never left my face..lol.. ok.. for the past 31 years).. so i went with my mom who wants an appointment too.. we arrive there all smiles thinking that we'll finally get a facial or some treatment..well.. apparently she was in a meeting.. so we decided to come back after lunch.. we went to a nearby mall to kill time.. and by killing time.. i got to spend money on lunch and gas.. these weren't at all necessary if the doc was already there..so after killing time we went back.. guess what?? she's not in yet.. The secretary said that she was still in a meeting..aarrrgh! we decided to just go home and come back the next day.. all those time and money wasted coz the doc was not in.. this happened to me with my OB too..i went to her office.. but guess again.. she was in a conference...

A Very Merry Christmas @ Asian Greenville

We just had a wonderful holiday vacay at Asian Greenville. The rooms were enormous.. the pool was clean.. It was the best experience ever!! We played Pinoy Henyo while waiting for 12am.. It was so funny.. My papsie was the star player of the night.. and of course.. our stay won't be complete without trying the pool.. the weather was cold.. and the water was cold but it was all worth it.. Mamu and the kids ready to swim.. Leandra and Anika were both excited to try out the bed.. lol Gifts waiting to be opened.. yippeeee!! I can do this all over again!!!
